2 Weeks Before Moving

Remember that now you have exactly one fortnight before you make the move. Visit the post office and intimate them about the change of address.

You can start packing your stuff now. If necessary buy more packing materials. If there are materials which require expert packing make a special list of those and intimate your mover. By this you should have roughly got an exact idea of the actual quantity of stuff that you want to move. Inform your mover is there is any change from the previous quantification.

If you are a member of some associations or clubs you can write to them about your change of address and if there are similar branches you can request for a change of membership.

Use the current telephone, gas and electricity provider to gather information about similar services in the new location. Try to get a connection before you reach the new location. You can unsubscribe from your current magazine and newspaper vendors or suppliers.
